The Garden of the Gnostics (Bustān al-‘Ārifīn) is Imam an-Nawawī’s work on taṣawwuf, drawing as is his wont on the Qur’ān, with careful choice of hadith, and the sayings of the first generations (salaf) and eminent later people.
